My Views On Fashion !!

Fashion plays an increasingly important role in an indivi­dual’s life because it is considered as a means of self-expression. The garments and accessories that man or women wear, help them to identify with a group of others-whether it is a lifestyle, profession, a religion, or an attitude. Thus, the term ‘fashion’ has become synonymous with the overall growth of the country as well.

I think that fashion can takeover girls lives these days and that they spend to much time and money and to be honest I’m one of those girls. Fashion is a way for some people to express themselves with style.Today, fashion does not necessarily mean glamour, or the urge to follow the current trends. It is more a way of life, a reflection of inner beauty, where the intellect shines through, complete with comfort quotient.

I also have learned a lot about what works on my body shape and what looks terrible. Or rather, when it looks like certain styles are wearing me, rather than the other way around. Not only do some trends do nothing for my shape, but I don’t feel good in them. I’m self-conscious and probably readjust my outfit several times or check that everything is still in place, when I’m wearing something outside my comfort zone. Wearing silhouettes you feel great in makes your clothing one less thing to worry about – when you already know you look great, you’re free to worry about more important things!

I think that sometimes trends get into our subconscious and come out without even thinking about it. Colour is so intensely personal and we all have colours that look great on us! I wear colours i like rather than color ‘trends’ – of course, I may try something new when a colour is popular, but I won’t restructure my buying and wearing decisions around what’s hot now. What I think happens as well is that when something is popular, say coral or mint green, we see it everywhere and so it becomes familiar. It’s easy to like a colour you keep seeing around you, it feels natural to think.
